Extension facing the river
This house, with typical of 60s architecture, is located on the banks of the Marne, in the middle of varied and abundant vegetation. The goal of this project is to breathe new life into this house, while respecting its architectural heritage. The interior layout has been redesigned for the needs of the family: the existing structure, as well as the doors and windows, have been redesigned.
Special attention has been paid to natural light which, originally insufficient, will now flow smoothly in all rooms. The vegetation surrounding the house will now penetrate the living spaces. Between the light, vegetation and materiality, the detail and its subtlety of the renovation will add a new story to this beautiful family home.
