Prevelle

Nestled in a historic, listed building in Paris’s 7th arrondissement, originally designed as stables, this space reveals its charm only once you step through its understated façade. Inside, Chef Romain Meder welcomes you into his “home,” inviting you to discover his exceptional cuisine.

Fully renovated in early 2012, the space was carefully restored to highlight its original materials. Walls were stripped of their cladding to reveal stunning stonework and exposed wooden beams, complemented by authentic materials such as Burgundy stone, lime, and timber.

Our aim was to honor the past — the traces of different eras, former owners, and even the guests who once dined here. By embracing imperfections and blending styles, we tell a new story without erasing the building’s heritage — the very philosophy of Prevelle.

Prevelle celebrates a place, a chef, and the world he creates. Rather than adding unnecessary flourishes, we focused on a simple, generous design that balances elegance with warmth.
